This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit lazarogold.com (the "Site"), request an evaluation kit, book a video call, visit us in person, or sell precious-metal items to us (the "Services").

1. Information we collect

Information you provide:

• Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, and mailing/return address.
• Transaction details: items submitted for evaluation, your accepted or declined offer, and payout details such as your PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle handle.
• Identity-verification information that we are required to collect under applicable law (see our AML Policy), which may include a government-issued ID and date of birth.
• Communications: messages, call notes, and any images or video you share during a video evaluation.

Information collected automatically:

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Marketing attribution: source, campaign, and referral codes.

Information from third parties:

• Shipping and insurance partners (e.g., FedEx/USPS and the insurer), payment providers, and analytics or advertising platforms.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to: provide the Services and process your transaction; ship and insure kits and returns; verify your identity and comply with anti-money-laundering, "know your customer," and recordkeeping obligations; calculate and pay your offer; communicate with you about your order, including by email and SMS where you have consented; prevent fraud and protect our business; and, where permitted, send marketing about our Services.

3. SMS and email communications

If you opt in through our website form and consent checkbox, we send recurring transactional and marketing text messages (SMS) from Lazaro Davinchy about your kit, tracking, appointments, offer, and payout. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS or HELP for help; you can also use the unsubscribe link in emails. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential transactional messages about an active order. We do not share your mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with: service providers (shipping, insurance, payment processors, IT, analytics, and customer-support vendors) under contract; refiners or resale partners as needed to complete a transaction; and law-enforcement, regulators, or other parties where required by law or to protect our rights. The Services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" shows the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
